If you are worried about your child, coming to terms with a diagnosis, or looking after the needs of your child following illness or injury, people want to support you.
If you would like to sponsor a child's physiotherapy or offer a disabled child a "therapy holiday" funded by you, please contact Jenny, who will facilitate this.
You can achieve this by Jenny arranging discrete contact with the family, or by being directly invoiced for a child's treatment and receiving feedback from the family about their experiences and the result of treatment. This can happen through Jenny so that personal details are not shared if you prefer.
Grandparents, friends and other sponsors have done this in the past both anonymously and through direct discussions with the family. We are not a charity, but still want to help parents in any way that we can, either by arranging direct sponsorship or by arranging funding through a charity.
Sponsors
The creative director (who designed this website) Thad Cox of "Limited Fun", sponsored a child's intensive therapy holiday.
Jane Galloway has sponsored two children this year, as have others who choose not to be named. The Tree of Hope charity covers a high proportion of our treatments as does Carers Gloucestershire. Health insurance companies have also funded treatments.
It may surprise you to know that Primary school Head teachers have arranged for local authority funding directly to Jenny McLaughlin, when a child has an educational need for physiotherapy. This is because schools Head Teachers have flexibility in the use of their budgets.
Please contact Jenny if you would like more information.
