A kids physiotherapy service was established in Stroud by Jenny McLaughlin in 2012. Jenny is a fully qualified member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy.

All the physiotherapists who work with Jenny are registered with the Health and Care Professions Council.  Jenny has twenty five years of experience of physiotherapy and 16 years of experience in Paediatrics, in the NHS in the UK, as well as in New Zealand, Australia and Tonga.


We are paediatric experts and undergo continual training to improve our knowledge and skills, so that we offer the latest evidence based treatments and use our clinical judgement about the right approach for your child.


Meet Jenny

Jenny is a Chartered Physiotherapist, registered with the HCPC and has been in varied clinical practice since 1986.  Jenny has received training in Medical Acupuncture and Aquatic Therapy and she has a deep interest in reducing pain and improving quality of life and motor function in Children.

She draws on work in the NHS and Harley Street as well as in Australia, New Zealand and, with the United Nations, in Tonga and Papua New Guinea. Through this she has developed a unique set of skills which she continues to develop, over a wide range of conditions.

Jenny is a Senior Associate Member of the Royal Society of Medicine and is Chair of the neurological disabilities special interest Group of the Association of Paediatric Chartered Physiotherapists.  Jenny has also represented Neurodevelopmental Paediatric Physiotherapists at the National Learning Disabilities Senate.  This is part of the NHS mental Health Care in Crisis Concordat.

Jenny has worked with people of all ages and all levels of movement ability. She can work with both elite athletes, rugby players and dancers, as well as with people facing complex movement challenges. For example, motor coordination deficit disorder (dyspraxia) and cerebral palsy as well as many neurological, developmental and orthopaedic conditions.

Jenny is married and has three children.
